I had a lovely stay at Green Paradise Cottage, the garden was so beautiful with interesting plants, and the family were really friendly. They gave me traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and also I asked for dinner in the evening which was so welcome having arrived at 7 and travelling by bus to get there. One of the family also ran safaris, so organised it through them really easily and I had an amazing time seeing a whole family of elephants by the lake-very lucky!

TESHI SAFARI VILLA có khu vườn và tọa lạc ở Udawalawe, Ratnapura District. We stayed in a new apartment for 2 people. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the beautiful terrace. teshi and his family were great hosts and made us feel at home upon our arrival. They organized a great safari trip in Udawalawe National Park where we saw many elephants, hunting crocodiles and large groups of buffalo. Also, they prepared a wonderful dinner and a delicious breakfast.

We spent two nights at JML Villa Foresta with the family and honestly, it was the best stay we’ve ever had. From the moment I booked, the owner was in touch and super helpful. Even though he lives abroad, he made sure everything was taken care of and that we were happy. You don’t often see that level of communication and care. Getting to the villa is an adventure in itself. It sits right on top of a mountain, and the hotel provides both the off-road vehicle and the skilled driver you’ll need to get there. Once you’re at the top, the views are absolutely jaw-dropping and the weather shifts constantly, so the scenery feels alive and always changing. The villa is just beautiful. A mix of stone and wood that feels both rustic and luxurious. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Outside there’s a pool with an incredible view, and inside you’ve got a pool table, big flat-screen TV, and a sound system you can crank up without worrying about disturbing anyone, since the villa sits on its own massive 25+ acre estate. Total privacy. RSpecial thanks to Ravi, the host, who looked after us with such professionalism and warmth. He made sure we were comfortable at every moment. And the food? Honestly next level. The owner had told me they serve more than what you pay for, but I didn’t realize just how true that was until we sat down. Every meal was generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. The dishes just kept coming until we couldn’t eat another bite. If you’re after breathtaking views, complete privacy, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. We loved every minute and would come back in a heartbeat.

The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and made with love. Whether it was traditional Sri Lankan cuisine or a customized meal, everything was prepared to perfection. The resort arranged the best safari tour for us! Our guide was knowledgeable, and we got to see elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, and even a leopard up close. It was an unforgettable adventure, made even better by the seamless organization from the resort. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food, clean & cozy rooms, and the best safari experience in Udawalawe, this is the place to be! Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to visit again!
