We have stayed in the Appartement for a Werk in February and it was really amazing. The check in is very easy with a key box so you're really flexible. We Just travelled by bus and no car but the flat was very easy to reach and there are a lot of buses. Howard, the owner of the Appartement, was very kind and checked in several times if we need something. When we had a little problem he arrived in unser 10 mins to help us and got it fixed! :) The kitchen was very well equiped for cooking during our stay and having dinner with that view was just amazing. You can also see ships coming in and leaving the Harbour which is great to observe. The flat was very very clean and we had a lot of towles to use. There is a washing machine in the bathroom which makes it even more easy. We would 100 percent come back again :)

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The space had so much charm, with a great mix of traditional Maltese details and modern comfort. Each level was thoughtfully designed, and the rooftop terrace was the real highlight — peaceful, spacious, and perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The apartment had everything I needed, including adapters for European plugs, which was a small but super helpful touch. The neighborhood was quiet and local, but still just a short walk or ferry ride from Valletta and other parts of the island.

You can make your own food in the kitchenette before eating in the private dining area, and the guest house also features a coffee shop. The property is beautiful and in an excellent location. It has been renovated recently and all the amenities are exceptional. The owners are very accomodating and helpful, catering to our every need. Everything was new, clean, and honestly in the best spot we could've picked to stay at. Having travelled through many neighbourhoods, Birgu was our favourite as a couple – it combined tradition and tranquility, beautiful townhouses and winding streets along with a close distance to the centre (about a 30 min travel). Also, the check-in was very easy and the apartment identical to the photos provided. Thank you for everything!
