A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of garden, La Maison Soleil is set in Trou dʼ Eau Douce, 1.6 km from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Love it. The lady that is hosting is extremely nice and helpfull...super...the rooms are friendly clean and with many windows for fresh air and light...we were sharing the kitchen with other guests...that was easy and nice experience

Towels and bed linen are provided in the villa. This villa is allergy-free and non-smoking. Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge.
