The rooms are clean, there is an air conditioner, a fan, a refrigerator, everything you need, in general. You can rent bicycles for ride around the island. The beaches are not far away: the nearest one is 7 minutes, two more - 10 and 20 minutes. The hosts are nice, they organized a trip to see fish, and a fishing for the neighbours. Food preferences are taken into account. Everyday there's freshly squeezed juice, fruits, fish. If you want more romance, there are restaurants nearby. The island is very green, the sea is almost without waves, clear. Didn't want to leave.

We liked everything from the very beginning, from the moment we met until we left. Akhmed is a very attentive and caring host. Our plane was delayed and we did not have time to catch the speedboat. Akhmed was constantly in touch and agreed speedboat on another time. After an hour and a half ride by speedboat, we were met by Akhmed on Dhangethi Island. When we met, he gave us a branded T-shirt and a coconut. We liked the hotel, a cozy room, everything was there, the air conditioning was silent. The hotel is located in the center, close to grocery and souvenir shops. The hotel has a kitchen, you can cook food, there is free water, tea, coffee, cakes and a veranda on which you can sit and eat. Excursions with Ahmed are a separate issue. He is a great expert in this matter. The next day we went on a manta ray excursion and swam with them, it was amazing. Akhmed films everything with his camera and then provides the video and photos for free. The next day he took us on a whale shark tour and we swam with it. My wife didn’t have time to swim after the whale shark, so Akhmed put her on his boat, they caught up with the whale shark, jumped into the water, he took her hand and literally took her to the whale shark. That was great! There were also excursions to the sand bank and snorkeling. In general, the week on the island flew by very quickly. As a farewell, Akhmed gave us more souvenir magnets. There is a lot more to tell, but we invite you to come and see everything for yourself. Thanks to Akhmed. We'll definetely come back. P.S. We ate at the Compass restaurant, stingrays swim there in the evening, you can feed them, and my wife constantly fed them and pet them. Super!

All appliances are new and everything is well-maintained. The host would always check on us to see if everything was in order and he also assisted us with the speedboat transfers. This was an amazing find in Dhangethi!

I stayed 2 nights at Reef Shine in Thoddoo and really enjoyed it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was tasty, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location close to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, made me feel like at home. The room was super clean, surprised that they seem to do the house-cleaning twice a day. Water, tea, and coffee in the room was always refilled. The breakfast was nice too, there was the choice of continental and local, and I recommend the local! I really liked their garden as well, it was relaxing to look at it from the restaurant. Special thanks to the host, the speed boat I was originally booked for to return to Male was canceled due to the sudden bad weather, but the host have promptly arranged to book for a flight to Male instead, and I have managed to safely return to the international airport on time. Could not show my appreciation enough. Highly recommend this hotel if ever staying at Dhigurah!

Kitchen has everything from gas stove , utensils, oven. Also there is fully functional washing machine which is a great plus.

She organized a private transfer to Ukulhas for the same price as public one, helped us connect with a local dive center (Murakabay Dive Center - amazing guys!), and was always in touch and ready to help 😁 The property is an a good condition - the same as in pictures. The courtyard is nice, but we were not able to spend much time there due to the rainy season 😞 Of course there is always room for improvement and we just wish there were more towels and a clothesline
