The apartment was beautiful, large, clean and well maintained with everything you needed to self cater. Air-conditioning worked well and the rooms were spacious and well furnished. We really liked that drinking water and ground coffee were provided. The pool area is fantastic with a large clean pool. The music drove us slightly mad when we arrived but the staff kindly turned it off so we could relax and read our books with just the jungle sounds. The hotel offers a washing service which ended up being cheaper and easier than the laundry service we had used in town previously. There is a small shop with basics and pool towels can be hired. They provide a great information card with some excellent restaurant recommendations, trips etc. Communication was really good before and during our stay. The hotel is calm and relaxing with a fantastic staff team on duty 24hr. We loved our stay here.

Located in Holbox Island, Casa Hood By the Sea features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Great place !! Ideal combination of modern and functional. Rooms are well equipped, beds comfortable. Kitchen area has everything you might need and a rooftop pool is a cherry on top. Plus the manager is super helpful with everything. Truly recommend.

Just one block from 5th Avenue, although not fancy, this place is truly a gem! Initially, I wasn’t sure as it was located next to a pizza restaurant in a busy area. My trip was last minute and on short notice, I had requested early arrival. Once inside the complex, I felt safe; it was quiet and everything was very clean. I was met by Diego, who was wonderful, carrying and storing my luggage, bringing extra water, connecting the internet cables and offering suggestions; he was so very gracious. If I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. The location was fabulous, close to the beach, the ferry and Fifth Avenue, making it a great stay!

There are a few nice local restaurants nearby and a big grocery store in which we stopped by daily to get yummy mangos and other fruits.
