It was very clean and modern. Had everything we needed and was quite big! All dishes, utensils, pots, pans were available so we did cook one night.

It’s small, cozy, and exceptionally clean, everything felt fresh and spotless. The place has a warm, homey vibe that made me feel very comfortable from the start. The host was incredibly friendly, and the girl at the front desk gave such a warm and welcoming greeting. Even though it feels more like a motel or apartment complex than a hotel, the overall experience was fantastic. It’s located very close to a mall, which was super convenient, and there were enough parking spots available. Honestly, I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. I would absolutely come back if I’m ever in Auckland again. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful property! The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful and soft linens. Everything we needed was there, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels for makeup removal, towels for showers and for the beach. Although we did not use the robes they were provided. This place is right in town and easy access to shops, breakfast, dinner and the Matakana Saturday Market which was a lot of fun! Wonderful A+ Host.

I only booked an hour beforehand so it wasn’t surprising that when I arrived, the host (Andy) was not expecting me. No problem; despite enjoying a large family feast / party to celebrate his son going off to university, I was quickly shown to my room . . . which did indeed, have wonderful views across the bay and of the Auckland SkyTower. The room was pretty large with an en-suite bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe. Although I was sharing the kitchen with the family, it never felt awkward and where the guests cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. was kept was all clearly marked.
