Offering an indoor pool and a fitness centre, Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences is 400 metres from Auckland Art Gallery and 400 metres from Skycity Auckland Convention Centre. The location was excellent as everything in the city center were in walking distance. The views were great, the room was clean and quite big. The service was excellent as we got early check-in without extra charge when our flight arrived very early in the day.

Pristine clean inside, had everything you could need. Wonderful layout with use of washing machine, liquid laundry detergent and pegs provided. Small fridge with milk, orange juice, microwave. Private deck with clothesline to use, lots of sun, washing dried quickly. Lovely bathroom, comfortable bed. Welcoming chocolates, milk, tea, coffee, fresh bread to toast, wonderful selection of spreads, selection of cereal provided for breakfast. Met Liam, nice hosts. Definitely be back. Thanks a millon

I only booked an hour beforehand so it wasn’t surprising that when I arrived, the host (Andy) was not expecting me. No problem; despite enjoying a large family feast / party to celebrate his son going off to university, I was quickly shown to my room . . . which did indeed, have wonderful views across the bay and of the Auckland SkyTower. The room was pretty large with an en-suite bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe. Although I was sharing the kitchen with the family, it never felt awkward and where the guests cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. was kept was all clearly marked.

Very nice and clean. Have everything and even bread and milk in the fridge with condiments. All the equipments are very good.
