We stayed in the largest unit that had a full kitchen and laundry plus a large living room. A comfortable stop for the 4 of us after the bustle of Wellington. Stayed after taking the ferry to Picton and then driving through wine country. Mark is a great host!

Amazing property, designed with so much attention to detail. The property is beautifully appointed. I don’t often spend free time (when I’m not working) at rental properties, but truly enjoyed relaxing in the spaces at the Oaktree House. They are stunning, comfortable and well thought out. The large windows and doors opened up to make you feel like you were outside. The hosts provide so much more than other properties. The Nespresso machine with the frother made delicious coffee. There was a lovely basket of fruit and some candies on the counter. The host was prompt and helpful in responding to questions too. I wish I could have stayed longer but will return if it’s available again next time. What a gem!

The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay. The layout of the Lookout Apartment is unique and cosy. Good thing there is a toilet attached with the bedroom upstairs. What I loved most is the sunset view of the lake from the apartment. Is so picturique and romantic. We also enjoy the walk leading to the beach nearby.
