Delorenzo Studio Apartments offers a heated outdoor pool, on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Studios come with a kitchenette, laundry facilities and a private bathroom. The unit was clean and comfortable. After several days of hiking, we needed the washer and dryer and it was great to have the right in the unit. Also loved the Nespresso coffee maker and little balcony.

There’s a hike right from the cabin, and owner Mark is full of good advice of 1,000 other things to do in the region. It’s a relaxed place with a shared kitchen kept neat and tidy and well-equipped. We were there as a couple and enjoyed meeting other travellers, but the place can also be booked for big groups which would be excellent for mountain biking enthusiasts and others. The climb up to the platform bed is pretty steep but the bed was cozy and firm and comfortable.

The location was wonderful - just a short walk to the restaurants. The kitchen was fully equipped - the bedrooms had more than enough drawers and closet space which seems to be unusual for hotels and apartments. The private garage was fantastic as opposed to looking for street parking. The patio/balcony was a plus especially on a warm evening. The whole ambiance was 1st class.

The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay. We are a family of three, parents with a teenager, staying here for two nights. Our room has an outdoor table and four chairs, so we had our take-outs in the second evening and enjoyed the fantastic panoramic view. The location is at the end of an uphill. It's very quiet. We really loved the atmosphere during sunrise and sunset.

The manager of the place was very helpfull, one could see he realy likes to take good care of his guests. Our suite was very spacy and comfortable. Nelson is a very nice place.
