One Burgess Hill offers a choice of 15 self-contained units overlooking the stunning Waiwhakaiho River and native landscape. It provides modern rooms, some of which feature a wood burning fire and private outdoor spa. In between a house move, we needed a nights accommodation. This was the ultimate choice. It was peaceful and quiet, well decorated, comfortable with great beds and a good shower! The best choice we could make. We will be back!

The hosts have thought of everything, from cold water in the fridge to shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I could not fault a single thing on this stay. The bed was very comfy after a long day sight seeing, there was plenty of space and parking at the door. The garden was picturesque and hosts very accomodating.

The indoor/outdoor flow was great. The walk into the city centre only took 30mins or so and though the property is elevated, the walk back wasn't a hard climb. Mary is delightful and provided all we needed.

The view from the veranda over the adjacent farm at sunset was beautiful, and the host was very friendly. The unit was very clean and tidy, had everything you needed, including a full kitchen (even an air fryer!).

It felt like visiting best friends on their farm. We stayed for a week, but we could have stayed for a month.
