We were tucked away with our private garden with a couple of adirondack chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of surrounding mountains. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we didn't use it since we were there for only 1 night. Warm water in the bathroom and good water pressure. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer...but we will be back when we have more time. The host was very kind and helpful...she even helped me carry my bags to the room since I have to use a cane to walk.

Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. Small, compact kitchen, 2 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, few pots, pans, limited crockery/cutlery. Doesn't get too hot, also air-conditioning in room. Multiple payent methods available. Medium sized, comfortable, double bed, bedside table and lamp. Good lighting. Some limited storage, with clothes hangers.

Tristan was very helpful, communicative and extremely supportive when we had an issue at the house. The place is seriously espectacular with everything you need. The WiFi worked perfectly, the kitchen space was beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The house is very spacious, the living room is very comfortable. We took our dog and he loved it, it was well fenced and the grass was pretty cut down. The location is top notch! And is very very near to the town center and supermarket.

This place was spotless, roomy, comfortable, quiet, and well-located within easy walking distance to humongous saltwater pool and a bit further to the beach. Wifi and air conditioning worked 100% well. I would definitely stay here again. Best of all, the owner lives on site and was very communicative from the minute we made our reservation, to coming in person to collect payment, and making recommendations for transportation, restaurants, and where to buy groceries. (A free shuttle on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am takes you to a big grocery store a couple miles up the road.)
