We stayed in the studio with a private balcony (Estrella del Mar). Loved sitting on the terrace with a cold beer overlooking the Caribbean sea and watching the sunset 😎. You can hire paddle boards/ canoes & take them straight into the water from the pier. Bikes also available to hire. Rebecca was a great host & always available to help with any questions. The owner, Sterling, was a top bloke who kindly dropped us back at the airport! It’s about a 20 min walk to town or you can jump in a taxi for $1 each. (During the day walk along the beach to cut the corner off & avoid the traffic on the main road)

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. We loved every minute of our stay at Mosana Reef. Nadia and Salvatore are perfect hosts. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment upstairs - very spacious, with private terraces front and back, one with great ocean views, especially at sunrise. The kitchen is sufficiently well-equipped if you want to cook - we didn’t, as Salvatore is such a great chef! Playa Bluff is a 10-minute walk and another 10 or so minutes brings you to a number of beach bars and restaurants. Playa Bluff itself is very beautiful and remarkably unspoilt. Mosana is such a relaxing place to stay, it was very hard to leave. Thank you so much, Nadia and Salvatore, for a wonderful visit.

Toucan Hill is a hidden jungle paradise, but what truly makes it special is David. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

Beautiful gardens and patio, one in the front to watch the activity in the park where a lot of local families hang out, one porch in the back that is quieter. AC works well. Big kitchen, and very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. My only recommendations would be to have beds that’s are a little softer (or just a foam pad on the mattress) , reading light by the bed, and oil in the kitchen for cooking, and a filtered water container so that you can use a reusable water bottle and not plastic. Also for anyone booking—be aware that this is the center of town, and near some local bars, so there can be music until 1am or so, it is not extremely loud, and did not bother us, but if you are a light sleeper it’s probably better to be on the outskirts of town. For us, we liked to be right in the center where we could walk and watch kids playing soccer in the park, grab some meat from a food vendor etc. it’s a very friendly place with lots of good food, beautiful beaches nearby, and a great place to rent bikes next door.

The house's yard has an amazing garden(like a small jungle). We even saw a few monkeys there. The house is located outside of the city's central part, about half our walk. However, the place is good and close to the seaside.

Property is located in smaller island (Isla Carenero) across the main island of Isla Colon ,five-minute boat ride from main port. Nice dock and seating areas, small convenience store for basics, good amount of tropical trees around buildings providing shade from sun. The units were top-notch, fully equipped (kitchen, AC, smart TV) with a lot of space including living room area and patio area. Property manager on site to handle any questions, issues, and help with tour planning.

The apartment was amazing, looked very new and modern, was very clean and very comfortable, the location was very near to the restaurants and the center and best part was the host, pinto was an amazing host, always answered the phone no matter the time and was willing to help and give tips on the island and everything.
