The apartment was well located in the centre of the old city, right next to restaurants and shops. The apartment was quiet, clean and extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was great with communication and even let us check in early. I would not hesitate to return to this apartment next time I am in Faro!

Room was equipped with dishes ,refer, stove top and electric teapot. Also supplied with decent tasting instant coffee. Bathroom, and really the whole facility, looked brand new. Everything worked.

Situated a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna. We had some snacks and bottle of drinking water in the room, and special handwrited greeting card at the arrival from receptionist. That was nice surprise.

Beautiful setting surrounded by nature — gardens, forests, and plenty of walking paths. It was perfect for exploring with kids and watching the sheep, chickens, and other animals. We loved the mix of orange trees, olive groves, and pine forest. We had a great time! The hosts were incredibly helpful and even offered to do our laundry for free. Breakfast was delicious and varied.
