We loved the views, the house itself and the kindness of the host. I would totally recommend. I was amazed by the sound of the cagarros bird at night, it comes from a another world!

I'll just add thoughtful touches,, which are not visible in the photos (can confirm, that they really corespond the reality), but makes this place exceptional: 1)shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, 2) white bathrobes with seperate towels for sunbathing, 3) single-use toiletries, 4) basket of treats, 5) portable spotlight for night swiming in the pool and many more.

Fantastic location at ocean side amongst the lava walls of Pico’s vineyards. Easy walking to explore. Great comfy lodging and super quiet. Claudio met us and gave us some great history on the location, the lava, the vines, and his own personal connection to the land through his Grandfather. He gave us tons of privacy and we would highly recommend you book this!

Situated in São Roque do Pico, Aldeia das Adegas has a garden, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Great stay. Fantastic staff. Wonderful, cute cottages. Walkable to Sao Roque. Very relaxing.

In twenty plus years with booking.com this was the best apartment we have stayed in. All of the minor annoyances we usually encounter were not there. The ensuite had a fair sized cubicle with a good shower and a basket for toiletries, there was a lot of storage space, flat surfaces near the hand basin for your toiletries, hooks on the wall and even a proper plug which worked. The sofa provided comfortable seating for both of us as did the table and four chairs. There was a wardrobe with sufficient shelves and hanging space for two people with proper wooden coat hangers not the usual pin and socket type loved by hotels. The kitchenette is extremely well equipped with oven, induction hob, full size fridge and microwave so as to enable full self catering. There are even four bins - three dedicated to recycling. The apartment is well soundproofed both internally and externally (with the windows closed obviously). Wifi reception is excellent. This is also access to a laundry containing both washing machine and a dryer as well as the usual drying racks. Finally due to self check in we did not meet the owner but he was in constant communication with us and quickly responded to any message.
