The property in Maribor was absolutely excellent! It was really well equipped and located right in what I’d say is the very center of the city. Everything — and I mean everything — was within about five minutes’ reach. Despite being so central, it was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was a wonderful person who always checked in on us whenever we had an issue, responding in less than five minutes every time. Overall, if I ever return to Maribor, this is 100% the place I would choose again!

Wonderfully warm, inviting, helpful hosts; recommended a fantastic local restaurant & surprised us with a delicious home cooked meal! We loved the location so much, that we canceled the last 2 nights of our holiday at a Croatian terme to continue our stay at this tremendous place. Great location for exploring the Styria region. The photos do not do this location justice. Peter & his wife are amazing hosts. As his 1st American guests, I recommend you STAY HERE!

This accommodation in the heart of Maribor was simply fantastic! The location was ideal, with everything just a short walk away – shops, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a modern touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. We felt truly welcomed, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience the best of Maribor!

Apartmaji Babi ligger i Markovci i regionen Podravje og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis privat parkering. The apartment is very new and has been lovingly created with great attention to detail; from traditional window frames which form part of the banisters, to the beautiful wooden floors and the wood-burning oven. The apartment is well-equipped, towels and bedding are provided and if we needed anything else then we only had to ask and our host provided it immediately. We were given fresh milk, apples, coffee and sweets upon arrival which we much appreciated! The apartment is located above the pizzeria and if you order the delicious pizzas everything is brought up to your terrace (including cutlery, plates and sauces) and you can eat in your own little space whilst listening to the owls call. We ate all our meals on the terrace with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, the lake beyond the trees and the mountains in the distance. Markovci is a sweet little town, with two shops, a pharmacy and an amazing ice cream shop! The village is just a few minutes walk from the lake and a stunning nature reserve. The gorgeous town of Ptuj is just a short drive away and well worth a visit (or two). It is true that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the apartment next door. But this wasn’t a problem as they got up and went to bed about the same time as we did. The apartment had air conditioning which was excellent during the summer heat. All in all we loved our stay, we felt very welcome and were impressed by our host, the apartment, the village and indeed Slovenia as a whole. We would love to come again, thank you for a lovely stay!

The apartment is very clean, modern and has everything you might need. Location is excellent, close to motorway. Owner Lilly is very nice and very helpful. Highly recommended!
