Situated in Phra Ae beach and with Long Beach reachable within 400 metres, Happiness Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property is set 5.3 km from Saladan School, 5.6 km from Police Station and 12 km from Lanta Old Town. The property is located in the Saladan district. The rooms still held some privacy despite being in a dorm. The area is ideal, stunning beach close by and some lovely cafes / restaurants within walking distance. The best part of my stay was the staff. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and even sorted me out with some last minute transport to Phuket. She is amazing.

Met at the gate and went to reception. Singed documents and was then escorted to the villa. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole complex and villa were well kept, clean and inviting. Reception was able to schedule a private 4 Island tour that was fantastic.

I cannot say enough about the Pond and YinDee Villas, it was a great stay - I would say especially for families, considering it was 6-7 out of 9 villas occupied by families it ended up quite fun with ability for kids to socialize in the garden/pool area. The Villa itself is not huge, but it has all the things you need, comfy bed, Kitchen ( we cooked quite a lot ) with all necessary equipment, in our case the Cooker hood was not working so it was changed next day. Pool is decent size to not feel small even if multiple people use it, the garden is green and have some sun loungers, palms and huts were to lay down and read a book. Pond( the Host) is also a great person very responsive and ready to help just ask.
