I really cannot say enough good things both about the experience of staying here, and about the couple that run this lovely place. We arrived and they immediately made us feel so welcome. The advice they gave us for seeing the wonderful ruins around this rustic area was spot on. It’s a really relaxing place, Sukhothai. We would definitely consider going back just for a quiet break amongst the ruins of this former city. I noticed that, amongst other things, there is a sign at the front of the City Resort which says “learning centre”. I presume they run educational retreats or something like that. But that said, it occurred to me that the couple running this property provide a master class in how to run a hospitality business. If anyone wants to know how to make guests feel at home just come here! Also, almost forgot to mention the breakfast. This really was a highlight. Lots of little treats, some from the local markets. And they even told us the Thai names for things - which we are still practising ;)

Staying here feels like being at home. There is a common area where families can relax and enjoy meals together. Overall, the place is better than expected and made our trip to Sukhothai very enjoyable.

Ying Yang House Sawankhalok ligger i Sawankhalok med udsigt til en have. Her er gratis cykler, en have og en terrasse. Der er også gratis wi-fi. The house was beautiful and very impressive, and we would have stayed longer had our trip not been so short. For the value, highly recommended.
