The property was clean and well maintained. It was in an ideal spot to explore the big island. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was never an issue! Incredibly comfortable bed and they had the room heated upon our arrival from a cold afternoon of trekking through the volcano park. There were so many lovely little touches to make our stay extra comfortable such as nibbles ready on our check-in and breakfast all sorted for the morning. A very easy drive into Volcano Park. Completely recommend.

The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts had great communication. The view from room was great and the property had beautiful plants and flowers. I enjoyed relaxing in the bath tub as well!
