Spent one night there after bailing from a place round the corner that was double the price and awful. Can't speak highly enough of this apartment

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly.

All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. Black Bear Lodge features free WiFi throughout the property. the room is so clean, they put 2 piece of welcome chocolate on the bed which was so delicious. I can feel they care about the customer so much. The lobby is so cozy for couple to have a drink. Last but not least, the location of the lodge was totally perfect, we can walk to the lake round 6 mins. I will be back soon absolutely.

We stayed in the Three-Bedroom Villa, and it was easily the best hotel room I’ve ever seen. There are plenty of things to do around the property, and the swimming pool area is great too :). I’d definitely stay again 100%!

It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated being able to use the garage since we brought our bicycles with us. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Excellent communication. We felt comfortable and slept well - very important! The coffee bar was also great to have in the morning! Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back again!
