We felt safe and well-attended to during our stay. The room had everything we needed for our compact 8-day stay - we dined, cooked, and did laundry comfortably as we were well-supplied. The bed was cozy and allowed for rest. A/C functioned well. The dining table and couch were just the right size. The room had the right amount of racks and cabinetry for organization. Bathroom utilities are basic yet reliable. The make and model of the laundry machine is good and updated. Despite resupplying us with two pieces of bottled water daily, we still had the provision of drinking water via the filtration system on the tap. Daily cleaning was fulfilled to our satisfaction. We suggest for bath products to be in refillable glass bottles instead of mini plastic bottles, and for linens and towels to be replaced only when they've been set on the floor, for a more sustainable approach. The gym included basic equipment that is enough to engage one in a proper, full-body workout. We didn't get to try the sauna but the heated pool was awesome and the layout of the pool and sauna area is appreciated. Breakfast included soups, side dishes, Vietnamese and Japanese fare, an array of fruits, veg, yogurt, juice and milk options. There's cereal, bread, jams, and chilled dessert. Pho as well as eggs cooked in different ways can be ordered on the spot. Breakfast could be improved by offering more variety in their proteins or meat offerings. We are particular about cleanliness, and look not just at surfaces and bed corners but at A/C vents, bathroom vents, as well as drains and hair dryers to see how the hotel is on this aspect. This hotel maintains cleanliness well, at least from what we've observed of our room, hallways, elevator floors, the breakfast area, their lobby, etc.

Walkable, lots to see. Lakeview of Westlake. Comfy bed, has everything I needed. New facilities, super kind, patient and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

What stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff were consistently attentive, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful options that catered well to both local and international tastes. A particularly impressive aspect was the tour arrangement service provided by the front desk. Every detail – from transportation to scheduling – was handled with accuracy and professionalism. Their guidance made my trip seamless and worry-free, which I truly appreciated. I would happily recommend this hotel to any international traveler visiting Hanoi.

It is located 1 km from Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and provides a lift. One Pillar Pagoda is 1.4 km from the guest house and Trang Tien Plaza is 1.6 km away. It felt like being at home staying at La Casa di Dicembre. We stayed here twice as the first time we loved it. It’s a real hidden gem in the heart of Hà Nội. The room/studio we booked was on the very top floor, spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. We could sleep very well. We never met Quyet but he was great in his communication, responsive and helpful. If we are back to Hà Nội we won’t hesitate to stay here again.
