The absolute highlight was the wildlife coming right up to the window, which created a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Ungava Retreat is a hidden gem that we couldn't recommend more highly!

A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.
