The shops and restaurants at South Street Seaport are also within 5 minutes' walk. Good location if you are traveling for work and have some jobs to do in the financial district. It's great for the family as well, but a little bit far from Time Square, Empire State and other "main" sightseeing areas. Great location both for everyday commute to NYC as well as for staying at a quiet place. Having the chance to watch the Macy’s fireworks from in front of the hotel and yet having a fantastic view was a great plus! The staff was super friendly and their Italian-style restaurant was also great!

Take the subway experience, be sure to prepare change in advance, one-way 3.25d, 2/3 bus subway, and blue b/c did not pay much attention, you can reach, you can google maps GPS navigation. Like it!
