This is a superb apartment in lovely quiet alpine countryside, and Alex was an extraordinarily friendly and helpful host who immediately made us feel very welcome. The accommodation covered the entire first floor of a large country house and had been very well modernised. There was also a nice outside terrace with table and chairs, and a large balcony with lovely views. The apartment was very well equipped and each of the rooms was very spacious and extremely comfortable - a real home from home. A really superb place to stay and use as a base for exploring the wider mountains and lakes region of central Austria. Thoroughly recommended!

Amazingly restored historic building with a very relaxed and friendly, yet privacy respecting way. Common areas are beautiful and the whole place is an inspiration. Podenhaus is located comfortably in Bad Aussee in a way that it’s easy to make day-trips to nearby lakes. Bicycle rent is also nearby. Will surely be back!

We’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some of the top hotels around the world, but the experience of these chalets definitely ranked up there. The facilities within the chalet were exceptional as was the breakfast we had served to us in the morning.

The Apartmenthaus Hinterer enjoys a quiet location in Bad Goisern, a 15-minute drive from Hallstatt and a 10-minute drive from Bad Ischl.

I really liked that they gave a good thought of what a baby might need and put a baby chair and baby bed both of which were in great condition. There was also a separate play area with toys and a Christmas tree (as we were travelling during Christmas holidays). The kitchen was exceptionally equipped with everything a family can need. So was the bathroom. The view is outstanding and place is quiet.

Ferienhaus Christern is a recently renovated holiday home in Grundlsee, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Apartment in the quiet recreation area, easy walk from cristal clear lake. Plenty to do for everyone in the family. Private sauna and small pool just outside to relax. Easy drive to Hallstatt but, in our oppinion, Grundlsee is great and much quieter for nature lovers.
