This place was really cozy with picturesque view from the window and just outside the apartment. Owner Sofia is really a warm hearted person, she welcomes and sees off her guests as if they're her personal guests. Her apartment provides all modern facilities that one may need for a vacation trip. She even offers free bikes for ride. In a word our 2days stay at her place was amazing. As a Muslim we need to eat halal and there is scarcity of halal restaurant in Bad goisern region. But sofia's apartment offers almost all kitchen utensils and we were able to prepare our meals without hassle.

Falling asleep to the sound of the river at the end of the backyard and waking up to breathtaking views of the rocky mountains surrounding the property was an unforgettable experience. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated in a modern local style. It was spotless and equipped with everything needed for a perfect family vacation. My two-year-old daughter loved it! She had plenty of space to run around inside, play in the yard, and throw rocks into the river behind the house. The location is excellent—Hallstatt, the lake, ski slopes, and Bad Ischl are all just 5 to 15 minutes away. Hosts are very nice and pleasant family which made our stay even more pleasant.

The location is breathtaking to say the least! We had an amazing view to the river from our balcony and the sounds of nature were so relaxing and healing. We loved this place and we’re coming back, definitely.

We stayed here because we couldn’t find a family room in Hallstätt. We are so thankful it worked out that way. The service at the hotel was fantastic- especially Thomas. The breakfasts were all fresh and homemade everything. We had our own breakfast table reserved for us for the entire stay. Wonderful start to the day! The 4 course dinner was also delicious. Bad Goisern is absolutely lovely. The stream that the hotel is on is stunning. We went to halstatt for the day and all of us said it was so refreshing to come back to our hotel to be away from the touristy feel - although we did enjoy our day there and the salt mine tour. The next day we went on a beautiful bike ride (bikerworld was helpful) from Bad Goisern to Obertraun where we swam in the lake. Amazing! Overall, I would definitely stay here again! We especially loved that it felt like we saw the daily life of Austrians in BG as there was live music with the locals all of the nights we were there. Highly recommend BG and this hotel!
