It was a quick walk from the train station, and the ski bus stops right in front of the property. Getting around Mallnitz from here was easy! The apartment was spacious and clean. The host family was really accommodating - we had a nice dinner with other guests around the campfire in the common area.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bergkristall! The whole place is very well appointed and impeccably clean, and the sauna feels very new as well. At my partner's birthday dinner, our host gave us great recommendations on wine and an absolutely delicious birthday digestif. The food served was locally sourced, and we believe it's the best food you can get in Mallnitz, and at a very reasonable price too (pretty confident we tried all the available restaurants in Mallnitz!) I still dream of the beds we had...sooo comfy. Best sleep I've had in years. All this is to say that our hosts clearly put a lot of thought into this place, and it really shows. Thank you, we'll be coming back for sure!

A lovely hotel with personal care and atmosphere in the center of Mallnitz. The staff and in particular Helga did everything to make us feel at home. The breakfast was superb, in a setting of an atrium looking out to to the garden. Our room with a large balcony had a view of the mountains and the village. We stayed for two nights and will definitely come back!

A very nice and charming old place. It really has a cosy feeling to it, unlike some newly built places. If you don't mind place not being super-fancy and offering tons of stuff, this will be great for you. The host is most pleasant and breakfast was nice.
