This is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We chose a suite and were surprised by the size of it. It had a coffee maker and a small fridge which were perfect for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. There was a tub but we didn't use it during our stay. There was a nice porch out front where we sat to enjoy the spring sunshine. Breakfast was a feast with items and coffee made to order as well as a large layout of food to chose from in the buffet. We ate dinner in the evening and everything was fresh and made to order. It was so good we were even tempted by dessert. We enjoyed being in a family run establishment which made us feel like welcome guests.

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground.

The food was excellent even for a someone with celiac. Super friendly staff! Clean big room in a beautiful village in the forest.

Everything! Great hotel, excellent food , fantastic staff, good spa and the best restaurant-bar Bratl-Alm, few minutes away from the hotel which belongs to the same owner. Beautiful mountains view and relaxing atmosphere, great location for hiking and skiing in the season.

The hotel is beautiful, very well-conserved in an amazing location! It is like in the pictures and even better! The bed is very comfortable, everything is extremely clean and nice! The interior design is Austrian rustic, however, everything is very well-conserved. They have amazing rooms for breakfast and large balconies! The breakfast was very nice, we had as a gift for breakfast some tasty pieces of home-baked cake! The people who attended us are very well educated and friendly! It is easily noticeable they love their job! And the evening before we wanted to have a glass of wine and we were offered for free with a giant tasty focaccia! This hotel is suitable for a quiet romantic stay as well as group visits. I believe it's one of the best destinations in Austria for cycling and hiking!

We had a wonderful stay at Alpl Resort! It is a charming place to stay in a beautiful area. The room was very large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were hearty. The wellness and play areas are well appointed. And the owners are so kind. We left talking about when we can go back!
