Our stay at this mountaintop hotel in Switzerland was absolutely magical. The views were stunning, the atmosphere peaceful, and everything ran smoothly. A special thanks to the young lady who checked us in and also served us dinner and breakfast—she was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The view is unbelievable! You can’t stop staring. Very tasty breakfast with amazing bred and view. Tasty food. Room was warm and clean,everything were clean! We didn’t have private bathroom but the common bath was clean. The owner is very kind and polite! I felt better as at home. Definitely recommend it!

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The best hosts we've ever had and the best place we've ever stayed at! Their dogs and cat are super friendly too :) Yet our apartment was independent and we had complete privacy and space to rest a lot just like we needed. The place has everything you could possibly need and more, the attention to detail is amazing. The decor is fabulous, you can tell that the hosts have an interest and talent for interior design and DIY. We loved that there were real plants in the room, makes it feel so homey and keeps the air quality excellent! The place is really cozy and quiet, perfect to rest. We were so tired when we arrived and left feeling recharged. The location is picturesque and great for exploring Liechtenstein, and a bit of Switzerland and Austria.

We had a great stay at Hotel B&B Stossplatz! The breakfast, the staff (Katrin and her mother), the service, convenient with a parking space right outside, the proximity to the Appenzell city center, restaurants, train station and more - was really great! We could not have wished for better accommodation during our hike weekend in Appenzellerland! Highly recommended and we will of course return!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We loved it so much! The room and view were amazing, bed comfortable and the staff were so lovely and gave us good tips for what to do! Easy to park, beautiful walks around the hotel and it had such a beautiful outdoor area for breakfast and dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10 from us!

Very spacious and comfortable room. Came to stay one night for an early start ski touring. The room is well maintained, warm and functional. Comfortable bed, good shower. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but there is a common fridge where one can deposit their things (there is a numbered box per room inside the fridge) and free hot coffee and tea in the morning.
