The room is very thoughtfully designed and refurbished. It even supports USB-C charger. Very nice view from the balcony. Make sure you book the room with balcony. The lobby offers free coffee and tea. Breakfast offers good selections. It also offers free shuttle pick up from the train station, so no need to worry about the distance from the station.

The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We had room number one and woke up with an amazing view onto the alps so close you can almost touch them. The kitchen is really well equipped. We picked up some supplies for breakfast. Instant coffee, sugar, salt, herbal teas were already there in abundance. Plus they sell local cheese directly from the kitchen fridge. Also, when we left, I had forgotten my purse! The owner came running after us (a good 500 m) to bring it to me! That's what I call SERVICE!

First, the high quality and professionalism of the hotel staff were what separated this hotel from others. They were consistently courteous, efficient and willing to engage with the guests. Second, the creativity and variety of the restaurant menu are worth mentioning. Where do I even start, everything about the Grand Hotel Belvedere was perfection!! From the minute we arrived, we felt instantly welcome. We were greeted by very friendly staff and treated to a delicious welcome drink in the lounge. We then realised my husband had left his backpack on the train which had lots of valuables in it. The staff immediately contacted the train station and located the backpack and arranged for a staff member to collect it for us (thank goodness for the honest Swiss person who handed it in). With the crisis averted we settled into our beautiful hotel room and headed out to explore Wengen, but not before taking a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view from our balcony! We have travelled a lot and I don’t think I have ever experienced a hotel with staff like this. They made us feel like they were genuinely excited for us to be there and every encounter with every single staff member was a delight. They were helpful, happy, enthusiastic and so friendly. They also made our children feel very welcome and made an effort to engage with them. The rooms and bathrooms are absolutely divine. As an interior designer myself I was in awe of the design of the rooms and common spaces, the bar, restaurant and lounge were as beautiful as the rooms. The buffet breakfast was delicious and our dinner in the restaurant was also incredible. We absolutely loved Wengen and our experience at the Belvedere made our stay all the more enjoyable. This hotel and the staff are very special, thank you for going out of your way to make our stay so memorable, we will be back for sure.

I've been to 6 hotels during this trip and Arenas resort was definately the best of them. Clean. Super comfy beds, warm room despite the cold weather in Wengen. Great view from the hotel room. Great breakfast.
