We’re a Swedish family and found this hotel by chance after five hours of driving, following a bumpy forest road deep into the Czech countryside. Our only requirement was a pool for our 11-year-old son – and that was met. But what truly stood out was the personal touch. At dinner, we were greeted with a printed menu in Swedish. Not perfectly translated, but perfectly thoughtful. Someone had noticed where we were from and made an effort to make us feel welcome. That small gesture made a big impact. The rooms are simple but clean, the location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A great stopover for families and a brilliant reminder that good customer experience doesn't have to be grand – just genuine.

All was the best with regard to the price/location. I was staying in hotels in Liberec for 3 times as much getting a half of the room comfort/size and then i decided to travel to the Residence Bara to save money and it was a dream for the price.

It is in an excellent location, just below Peklo-Hájenka, from where all the Jizerská magistrála cycling and hiking tracks are accessible. There is a fireplace in front with wood chopped and ready to burn, bring your own meat or sausages to grill on the fire. It is excellent value for money given the location. The view from nearby Devil's Stones (Čertovy kameny) is amazing, especially at sunset.

The location is not only picturesque, but very central to all the trails, that lead you on paths exploring the beautiful surrounding area. It's a great place to start a hike or cylce. The room was spacious, cozy, clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family to stay in and not be on top of each other. The owners were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and nearby activities to do. They even invited us to an evening campfire, where we had a great time singing under the stars. Although we visited in the summer, I can see how it would be great in every season, being on a great cross country skiing path. Can't wait to come back!

I recently spent an unforgettable five days, from February 3rd to February 8th, 2024, at the Ski & Spa Hotel Bellevue in Harrachov, and it was nothing short of incredible. Nestled directly on the ski slope, the hotel offers unbeatable ski-in, ski-out convenience, making my skiing experience seamless and delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was taken aback by the level of hospitality and professionalism exhibited by every member of the staff. The hotel management, the kitchen crew, housekeeping, and every single employee went above and beyond to make my stay feel like a home away from home. Elizabeth, the front desk manager, stood out with her helpfulness, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The dining experience was particularly remarkable, thanks to Michael and Josef, who looked after us during breakfast and dinner with exceptional care and attentiveness. Their service greatly enhanced our meals, making each dining experience enjoyable. The culinary delights, prepared by kitchen staff Tonda and Nikola, were absolutely delicious. I made it a point to try everything on the menu, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece that added to the overall excellence of my stay. The ambiance of the hotel is one of warmth and genuine care. It’s evident that the staff doesn’t just perform their duties out of obligation; they truly care about the guests' experience. The housekeeping, maintenance, and all other staff members were incredibly friendly and visibly passionate about their work. Their happiness and willingness to assist at any time added a special touch to my stay, making it evident that they aim to leave a lasting impression on their guests, not because they are instructed to, but from the heart. The hotel’s unique charm, coupled with its strategic location on the ski slope, its remarkable staff, and the exquisite culinary offerings, made my stay an experience I will cherish forever.

There was an issue in the booking system and they managed to find a solution fast. Everything was perfect and the sauna is great.
