Former youth hostel. Not new, but well kept and excellent value for money. Very large bathroom. Location is excellent for hiking, local wellness bath is within walking distance.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and assisted with a request for a late checkout with a smile. The hotel is well located in walking distance from nice hikes and short driving distance from many more.

Great location right in the middle of a small Harz village. Friendly staff who also managed the adjacent restaurant. We had one bedroom (good double bed) with a big TV, and a living room with a couch as the third bed. Nice view from the sunny balcony onto the restaurant terrace. Parking for 3 motorbikes next to the Hotel was available. Breakfast was good.
