Extraordinary services and facilities, own restaurant, bar, coctails, wellness area with sauna and steam bath with resting rooms around, free tea, etc. Breakfast was plenty, and a lot to choose from, including such extras like smoked salmon and trout, freshly baked buns, etc. Location is just a few hundred meter away from the Austrian border - rather quiet surrounding, but the next bigger town Berchtesgaden is a good 10 if not 15 minutes by car. Room has minibar, extra bath towels and bathrobes are provided for the wellness/bath area.

Such a lovely hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous. The breakfast was superb. All in all it was a great place to stay in the mountains with spectacular views and scenery. Very happy to accommodate our dog too.

We stayed at this hotel for one night by pure accident, but we liked everything so much (the location of the hotel, the Berchtesgaden town, cozy room with river views, kind staff) that we will return for a longer stay hopefully in near future!

Nice traditional hotel in a very convinient location to explore the area!The staff was polite and welcoming,the breakfast has a big variety of warm and cold choices and pastries and the room was comfortable with very good mattress.
