It was a beautiful place to stay. Very large and felt like we had our own house right in the middle of the town. The proprietors were very kind and you could tell they loved their place as did we. We ate downstairs at the owner’s son‘s restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. They are very kind. Michelin star service but still had a fun casual vibe. The photo I included of a building is not the townhouse but just wanted to show the beautiful mountains views in Mittenwald.

We made a stop in Mittenwald on our way from Dobbiaco in Italy to München airport. Wohnung Violine is a fully equipped, spacious apartment located in the center of Mittenwald. The building is 300 year old and a large balcony looks out over the impressive three mountain peaks. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night but this is a place to enjoy for much longer. The lovely host met us at the door and gave us a detailed explanation of the town, its history and its environment, and made several suggestions for walks and where to eat. We used all of his suggestions to the point! We had a designated parking spot where we could leave our car for the rest of the day of our departure.

It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel in an excellent location for hiking and biking. Our suite overlooked the lake and mountains with an incredible view. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious.

Regina was a great host, the apartment Is absolutely beautiful and right at the base of the mountains. The roads are narrow, but we had a minivan,so it shouldn't be an. Issue for anyone else. She even had beer for us!!
