This is a lovely cosy (and by that I don't mean small I really do mean cosy) apartment. It is spacious and comfortable with a great dining area and fully equipped kitchen. We only stayed one night as we were on a road trip but it had everything we needed/expected. We didn't come to ski but it would be a great location for that I'm sure, we could see the ski lifts from the balcony. Bonus to be able to sit on the small balcony with a coffee in the morning taking in the mountain landscape and morning sun.

Our host was very welcoming and fun, knowledgable and proud of the superb local food, including ham he'd cured himself, some great beers, 1-2 brilliant cheeses from near the Italian border, and a nice aperitif we had as a group. Our twin room had a great view of the mountains we'd walked over, there was a nice big garden and easy to use laundry facilities. The centre of the village of saint veran is just a short walk away.

The hosts were fantastic. They were very welcoming, friendly, and as a french learner, even helped me improve my french! It felt like staying with family. The breakfast was substantial, and the variety and quality of the dinner options (+ desserts) were both very good. Location is nice and quiet, and just a short drive or shuttle bus from the ski lifts. Nice view from balcony. Value was great overall. Merci beaucoup Chantal et Gerard!
