The hospitality was 5 star.. The hosts Sheila and Tamas had great local knowledge of the area with its sights and local amenities... Great location beside the great glen way cycle path and Neptune Staircase. The train station and bus stop was very close by. The pub/restaurant was 3.5min walk away from the property.. A great night sleep to be had every night to recharge the body for outdoor pursuits....

Lovely room with comfortable bedding. John and Adrian went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great and they even offered take-away options when we left early in the mornings. Great location to operate from.

Located just three miles from the centre of Fort William, Chase the Wild Goose, by Fort William in Banavie offers breakfast, on-site parking and beautiful views of Ben Nevis.

The on-site manager was so friendly and helpful, with great advice for hikes, activities and places to see. Great, well-equipped kitchen. It's a great location if you have a car, since it's several km's outside of Fort William itself. But still close enough to take advantage of the many hikes and activities in and around Fort William as well as Glenfinnan. I didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment. Clean, rather modern bathrooms and there were plenty of them. Nice showers! Parking right outside the hostel was safe. Highly recommend.

The location was excellent. Right next to the train and bus station. Lots of restaurants around. The room was cosy and nice. The bathroom was big, and everything was cleaned every day. There was a problem with the bolier the first morning, but theybsort it out fairly quickly during the day, and after that, everything worked jurt fine, and heating in the room was perfect. Breakfast was great because it was buffet style and had a wide selection of food, including vegetarian options The hotel is old, but I think that it is pretty well maintained, and it has its own charm. I would stay here again.
