The hotel has a lovely garden and terrace where you can sit and enjoy a drink or coffee. The pool is nice. In the restaurant, delicious food and high service are served. Breakfast is really good with a nice selection. But probably the best thing is that all the staff are so nice and friendly, which really makes the place a place worth recommending. The area around Lago 'dOrta is beautifully green and the lake is clear. The hostel itself and the village of Ameno surrounding it could not be more Italian if Coppola directed the whole set. Nice other guests, quiet surrounding and a small jazz concert in the local park made the stay enjoyable. But the best were Giuditta and her daughters who were friendly and very helpful, thank you.
