The area around Lago 'dOrta is beautifully green and the lake is clear. The hostel itself and the village of Ameno surrounding it could not be more Italian if Coppola directed the whole set. Nice other guests, quiet surrounding and a small jazz concert in the local park made the stay enjoyable. But the best were Giuditta and her daughters who were friendly and very helpful, thank you.

4.7 km from Borromean Islands, Villa Sofia is a recently renovated property situated in Baveno and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.
