In a word everything. The property is like something out of a James Bond movie. The room was excellent with two onsen, one outside with an incredible view. The layout of the room and the decor were to our taste and amazing in its simplicity. This aspect was evident it the rest of the hotel, from the corridors with work windows strategically placed, to the communal areas. The Kaiseki dinners were also excellent and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful.

- Property is a 5 minute walk from kutchan Station, 3 minute walk from a supermarket, so you can cook and prepare food as you like. - The views around the property are gorgeous. - There is also a free shuttle every morning to the slopes. - The place is clean and has a homey vibe. - manager Ryo-san is an asset to this place, he is an expert on the area and a great host. Although small rooms they are very cozy and have everything you need. Bed is super comfortable and we managed just fine with having all our snowboarding gear in there. Also very clean. Great location also for niseko and rusutsu resorts. A lot of amazing places to eat all within walking distance and also great to have a place to park the car

I was travelling over 2 weeks, skiing in the day and working in the evening thanks to the 9 hour time difference. The location is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to get up to the Grand Hirafu Welcome centre and the Ace Gondola so close enough to everything you need, but in a quiet side street. Facilities are excellent, including the washer dryer, this is the first ski trip I am not taking home dirty laundry! The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, and once I had got used to the Japanese heating systems in the property I had a very comfortable stay. Kutchan has some great bars and restuarants, and the prices are much better than in the main resorts of Niseko.

A recently renovated property, Ezo Fujiya Niseko House is situated in Kutchan near Kutchan Catholic Church, Kutchan Station and Asahigaoka Park.

The view of the mountain when you walk out the door is beautiful. The fuse went when I turned on the kettle but they sorted it very promptly. Great coffee place opposite.
