Love the house! It’s clean and comfortable just as the pictures show. There’s a free parking space, convenient for travelers driving. The owner took great care of all accessories inside the house and it’s very convenient having its own washing machine. There’s a supermarket and MacDonald’s within walking distance. The rooms don’t have air conditioners, only the living room has one. But it’s cool in the evening so it is ok.

The structure is new, clean and pleasant. The car parking is free and conveniently placed, just in front of the entrance. The staff at the desk welcomed us with warmth and happy faces. The room itself was spatious and warm. The bathroom perfectly clean. I've particularly appreciated the lights they have choosen for the room: not too strong, not too weak. The futons were confy and the breakfast very good.

The property was cozy and staff were all very helpful. The whole experience at Pension Gooseberry was a joy throughout, with our hosts being the most friendly and accommodating people on our trip in Japan. They made us breakfast each morning and even offered dinner each night to eat with the family! While the rooms are small, they are cosy with comfy beds. The building itself is beautiful with a wooden beamed structure and plenty of natural light. They also have a couple of Weimaraner dogs who you can meet. We cannot thank the Gooseberry family enough for their incredible hospitality and genuinely hope to see them again in the future. Furano is a magical place made even more special by the people who live there!
