The most beautiful house we've ever been to. A soothing traditional Japanese house which helped us feel, think, and live the Japanese way. A perfect way to understand the power of architecture on individuals. And another plus: 15' walk away from Zenkō-ji temple! (which by the way, is absolutely magnificent and captivating). Also, wonderful welcoming, lights were on upon arriving at night, beds were made, the house was tidy and clean, all like in a fairy tale. Finally, a parking space is available right by the house. Just unbelievable.

The house is amazing, with multiple rooms for a large traveling party. Great shared living spaces for our entire group to hang out. Place is very well-furnished with appliances and everything you could need around the house. Amazing view of the city and the mountains from the balcony. Our host was also super helpful and assisted with reservations at restaurants.

Private. Good parking right next to cabin. Staff was wonderful and very patient with our four noisy children. Food was good. Onsen was fine. Included with cabin. Cute gift shop area with local goods including omiyage. Heat worked well. Everything very tidy. Price was excellent. Nice tatami room.

Nice hosts and a cute dog! We had vegetarian diet wishes which were no issue at all. We had a delicious lunch and dinner and a good night sleep in a big room in a quiet area.

I think it was the best of my travels because the place, hospitality and host were the best. Keiji every day cooked hot Japanese and European breakfast and when I arrived picked me up at his house. He gave me information about life in Japan and answered all my questions very patiently. He gave me the drive to the onsen.
