The stay was exceptional. Our host, Yousuke, was incredibly accommodating, and provided an unparalleled experience that is only possible from a true local. The house is located about 15 minutes outside of Hakuba so it is close to attractions while maintaining an authentic style that is lacking in the highly trafficked tourist areas. The house is very traditional and will likely be most appreciated by those interested in a rustic lifestyle such as our group. The aesthetic and location, as well as Yousuke himself, really checked all of the boxes on our list.

The Onsen was a perfect way to end a day of skiing the beds were comfy and everything was perfect. Prime location, it's far enough from the main ski resorts that you don't have to deal with the hustle and bustle of hakuba but close enough to where the drive isn't bad!
