Beautiful location and well equipped chalet. The interior is very cosy and stylish and even with some terrible weather, we still found it a lovely place to relax. Very handy to have the EV charging point to use at the accommodation. Would definitely recommend trying the floating Sauna at the Gaustablikk hotel as well as their pizza restaurant Stova and the bakery. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to recuperate after Norseman!

Everything! It was large inside the house and in the yard as well. Lots of places to sit and visit with our family. Very clean, with everything you could need to have a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

A wonderful, clean hotel with perfect customer service and attitude. It is located near the famous hydroelectric power plant in Rjukan and besides the river bank. The rooms have comfortable beds, a sofa, a refrigerator and a small table. In addition, there are tables and benches for spending time outdoors. Bufet breakfast - tasty and with enough food options. The property had easy access, dedicated parking facilities, laundry room to use, good heated storage for ski gear, easy instructions on how to enter the property. We opted for linens which were a good quality and very clean, the apartment itself was clean and well stocked (toilet paper/kitchen roll/general cleaning equipment). The layout and design was also perfect for this kind of stay - big windows to let in a lot of light, yet simple minimalistic wood finishings which were very functional! I also had some issues with the original booking (my personal mistake) but reached out via email and received a very prompt and courteous response! Altogether it ticked all the boxes!

Located 180 km from Oslo, 440 km from Gothenburg, in the heart of Telemark you will find Gausta at 1000 m altitude above Rjukan and Vestfjorddalen.
