This was perfect! You could see that the people who run this place actually travelled before, because you find these little details that make your stay much more comfortable - chargers enough close to your head, a lot of hangers everywhere, dry room for clothes, hanging/living rooms etc. etc. and in addition, everything looks really nice and warm! I had a really pleasant stay.

Wilderness House is quiet and peaceful but with plenty to explore nearby. It's right by Olderfjord, and the views are stunning. During our ten days on the Lofoten Islands, we stayed in four different accommodations, including three nights at Wilderness House. Next time, we would spend more time here because we loved it so much, and then maybe a few days in Reine. Wilderness House is clean, welll equipped, cosy, spaceous, and comfortable. The friendly owners are nearby and happy to help if you need them. Olderfjord is great for a swim or canoe trip. We would love to come again.

Super nice location, when we arrived we saw the northnern light that was incredible. The house was super clean and the host helped us to save our rental car stuck in the snow 🤣 thank you so much for everything we had a lovely stay! We wish to come back in summer to fish in the fjord 😍

Everything was perfect! The location was next to water and a food store. The place was large and had everything from culture to modern and cozy. It was also very clean. We were 5 people and it was perfect. The owners was also very welcoming and nice, they helped us with the check-in, check-out and also when we asked about other stuff such as if it was a fireplace nearby. Everything was practical and easy. If I visit Lofoten again I will definitely live here again. Also the place is in the middle of the island so perfect distance to everything.

This is an amazing cabin with wonderful hosts. They really take care of the property and the guests. It’s a wonderful experience and it has everything you can think of. Special highlight is the jacuzzi, but also the nature around it.

A charming old house in a remote and wonderfully quiet area in the mountains, but close to Leknes (by car) and the Viking museum. Very spacious, and equipped with all you need, cosy and comfortable. Perhaps not for frail people as the sleeping rooms are accessible through a rather steep stair. Great and very friendly host / manager who was immediately available to answer any questions. Ideal for a retreat and for those who like nature and hiking.

The view from the room was incredible. Located 5-7 mins away from leknes centre by cab. 8-10 mins from leknes airport. It is placed right between leknes and ballstad. The cabin was very spacious and neat. Kitchen was stacked with all necessary items. Though we did not meet in person, the hosts were very nice and responded to all our queries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back here.
