Wanaka is an amazing place to stay. I get the impression that most travellers use Wanaka as a stop off to the Glaciers like we did. If i was planning my trip again I would spend at least a few nights in Archway motel, Wanaka. The hosts Jacqui and Mark can not do enough for you, they really are the best hosts you could wish for. Mark went out of his way to help my wife and I reschedule our trip to the Glaciers following the road closure at Hass. I can not think him enough for his reassuring assistance. Add to the above, the chalets are extremely high-end, comfort, quality, home from home. My wife and I would stay here again and for longer if we get back to NZ. Wonderful location, it had everything we needed. A very quiet and safe place! Everything was spotlessly clean. It even had a Nespresso coffee machine with Nespresso capsule. Great stay and sleep. We would stay here again at any time and highly recommend the accommodation.

Room was clean and nicely furnished with a nice balcony with some obstructed views of the mountains (if you're on the second floor). There was also a nice cooking area.

Super spacious with many beds! Clean and under good management. Got a lovey balcony with a great view, even though it's on ground level. Location is not in the most centre area. But it's totally fine if you have a car.

What a nice spacious apartment with wonderful view of the lake! We were lucky enough to stay in a corner,so got the 270 degree of the view of the lake, in the afternoon,the sunshine sheds the glow all over,evev makes you feel hot. Absolutely loved it.
