We can’t say enough good things about Vila Koman, the Koman family, or Zgornje Jezersko. We stated each day with a great breakfast and talking through the plans of the day with the host, Alan. He was very helpful with route planning for summiting mountains and knew where to get the best views. He also told us about museums and towns that he thought were a good fit for our group. Every evening, we enjoyed the mountain views with drinks in the café on the first floor. There was even a Finnish sauna and relaxation room downstairs. When we are back in Slovenia, we will be skipping Ljubljana altogether, and heading strait to Vila Koman.

A very charming guesthouse with a fantastic location, run by a very warm family. Our room was not large, but very clean and tidy with a very cosy bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom was a little older but clean. Very tasty and large breakfast, lovingly served at the table. Dinner was also very tasty and plentiful. The trout was a dream! The location in the valley is unique. From here you can start great hikes and in the evening you can enjoy the view with a beer. Simply unbeatable for the price.

The surroundings are wonderful. Glamping is in the middle of nature. The hosts are very nice and friendly.

We spent 3 weeks in Slovenia, and this was the nicest host we encountered. She took the time to get to know you, and on arrival gave us a drink of choice each and a small pizza before we checked in. Breakfast the next day (for extra $) had absolutely everything, and more, she even gave us some takeaway bags. Finally, on leaving, she gave us a bottle of champagne. Also, the rooms were spotless, comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay in Kranj The host lady was very friendly. It is very close to many attractions and also train station is not so far, 12 minutes by bike. Bikes can be kept inside close to the reception. The view of the canyon is amazing. Its close to many supermarkets and local food places too. The bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommended.
