The barrier-free eduCARE Hotel in Treffen is a 10-minute walk away from the banks of the Ossiachersee Lake. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. Nearly everything and everyone there is just great. Restaurant is classy with great food and atmosphere for the evenings, and the breakfast is just superior to many 5-star hotels. Selection of herbal and fruit teas is enormous. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, everything in hotel is modern, common area doors are automatic touch-free, rooms are spacious with a large entry area which is especially convenient if you came skiing. We were able to book last minute for a one night stay. The host met us at the door and showed us our room. What a great apartment! We slept so well and we were rewarded with a gorgeous lake view in the morning. I would have loved to stay longer and explore the area.

Petra and her husband are wonderful hosts, they were so kind and helpful. The apartment we booked was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. It is a short bike ride to the lake, perfect location! Can’t wait to come back!

Many activities in the area such as cycling, hiking, boat trips, swimming (included in the rental price was a 'Karnten Card' which gave free admission to lots of activities including the local cable car a saving of more than €30 each time!). Fabulous.
