Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and our room had a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. Sitting there in the evening with a glass of champagne watching the stars at night was a really lovely way to end the day. The staff are so lovely and the breakfast was very yummy with a great selection. We wished we were there for more than one night. Hope to be back 😀😀

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Beautiful location, nice and quite very close to all the facilities and very clean… the breakfast was perfect literally perfect, awesome place. I will definitely come back.

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Big, very comfortable hotel, with a lot of facilities,

There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. Nice breakfast, incredible dinner, very benevolent staff. Very nice and cheap price for beer, cakes and other extra food for the place far away from cities and villages. Nice sauna and mountain views.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, meticulously clean and comfortable property. The family that owns and operates this recently renovated property welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was great. Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.
