The area is popular for hiking and skiing, and bike hire is available at the accommodation. Guests receive the ad Kleinkirchheimer Sonnenschein Card, which offers discounts or free admission to many leisure services. The service, the people, they were so nice and friendly. I felt very welcome.

Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. Nice apartment hotel with great services. The Lungau Card is excellent.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. Awesome location, very friendly staff, breakfast 10/10! Highly recommend.

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. Amazing staff, very cheerful.

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Lovely room, excellent breakfast, safe parking available for motorbike

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Wonderful place to stop over on my travels through Europe by motorcycle. The room was huge and super comfortable, the facilities were excellent and staff all lovely. I had dinner in the restaurant too and it was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional - the best spread I've ever had whilst on my European road trips. There are also communal areas with books and games, which is a bonus.

The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. Everything was wonderful! We truly enjoyed our time at Wallackhaus. The room was very comfortable, meals were delicious, and nothing can beat the view and location!

Set in Rennweg and only 34 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Haus Wolfsbach offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated apartment is located 21 km from Mauterndorf Castle and 34 km from Porcia Castle. The apartment has family rooms.

Skiing and cycling are possible within the area, and the apartment offers ski storage space. Very nice, spacious, clean, newly renovated apartment with a cute terrace. Kids especially liked the wall fireplace. 😀 Approachable and kind host.

Landhaus Königsreiner, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Kolbnitz, 12 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, 22 km from Porcia Castle, as well as 25 km from Millstatt Abbey. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden.

For guests with children, Landhaus Königsreiner provides a baby safety gate. After a day of skiing, cycling or walking tours, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. Very nice hosts and excellent breakfast.

The holiday home provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the holiday home, all units come with bed linen and towels.

Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, ski-to-door access and a ski pass sales point are also available on-site. Staff was super helpful, even though we had to make last minute changes due to a sickness. The apartment was right on the slope (ski in and out, right to the door), and it was super clean. Also the apartment we got was of very high quality, furniture, machines, materials used were above average. The ski storage room with lockers per apartment was very useful and easy to access. The automated, 24/7 shop on-site was excellent, and there's another automated (unstaffed) one reachable with a 3 minute walk, and a proper shop open until 5pm a few hundred meters away, so the location was perfect. It was also very quiet and comfortable.
