The barrier-free eduCARE Hotel in Treffen is a 10-minute walk away from the banks of the Ossiachersee Lake. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. Nearly everything and everyone there is just great. Restaurant is classy with great food and atmosphere for the evenings, and the breakfast is just superior to many 5-star hotels. Selection of herbal and fruit teas is enormous. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, everything in hotel is modern, common area doors are automatic touch-free, rooms are spacious with a large entry area which is especially convenient if you came skiing. Oh, the balcony is a nice bonus - rare thing in hotels. Marked with a heart on google maps.

The apartment was almost brand spanking new, nearly without wear and tear. The price was extremely competitive. And the owners put in a lot of nice touches like a bunch of free chocolates and of course free coffee. Parking is free too. This is among the very best hotels / apartments that I have ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

They had an accident in our room with a burst pipe on our arrival day so they had to cancel our stay. But I had no internet access as my mobile got stuck so I did not see their reports of cancellation. When we arrived they arranged a new accomodation for us and paid for it. We liked everything about this property! The styling & furnishing of the whole complex has been done very tastefully. The room was spacious & the bed was comfortable. The view across the lake & mountains is stunning. The food in the restaurant is creative & beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful (the diner menu was only in German, so the waiter went through the whole menu, giving us the English translation. We were able to charge our EV overnight. The spa facility looked great, but we were only there overnight & didn’t have time to enjoy it.

The apartment is equipped with literally everything you will need ( Fully equipped kitchen with cleaning set in cute box , washing machine and iron facilities, fast speed Internet, TV with streaming services like Netflix, there is a dedicated parking space just outside the building, an elevation that reach every floor and there was an AC in our apartment not that we need it as the weather was nice and there was mosquito net on the window and balcony doors) . Beautiful view of the lake and 3 Grocery store nearby and they direct you to a access to a beach nearby to swim or paddle on the lake . Villach center is approximately 10 Min drive .
