The barrier-free eduCARE Hotel in Treffen is a 10-minute walk away from the banks of the Ossiachersee Lake. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. Absolutely loved our stay. I wish more hotels would be like this. Service and comfort are number one. Location - Perfect, just a few minutes from the highway on one side, yet surrounded by mountains on the other side, and near a lake. Rooms - Spacious with a thoughtful layout. The rooms seemed also suitable for people with mobility issues. I especially appreciated extra storage space in the bathroom. The view of the surrounding mountains was nice. Facilities - Again, everything so thoughtful. The spa area was wonderful. The saunas and showers are comfy and offer enough privacy if you want it. The relaxation room was exactly that, I could've gladly stayed there overnight if someone asked me to. The game room with pool tables and board games is a really nice touch. My BF and I had a lot of fun. Great idea for guests wanting to stay in and just relax. Staff - Everyone was kind and explained everything we needed to know right from the start. All together a great deal if you find yourself in the area.

The apartment was almost brand spanking new, nearly without wear and tear. The price was extremely competitive. And the owners put in a lot of nice touches like a bunch of free chocolates and of course free coffee. Parking is free too. This is among the very best hotels / apartments that I have ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

We were able to book last minute for a one night stay. The host met us at the door and showed us our room. What a great apartment! We slept so well and we were rewarded with a gorgeous lake view in the morning. I would have loved to stay longer and explore the area.

But I had no internet access as my mobile got stuck so I did not see their reports of cancellation. When we arrived they arranged a new accomodation for us and paid for it. We liked everything about this property! The styling & furnishing of the whole complex has been done very tastefully. The room was spacious & the bed was comfortable. The view across the lake & mountains is stunning. The food in the restaurant is creative & beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful (the diner menu was only in German, so the waiter went through the whole menu, giving us the English translation. We were able to charge our EV overnight. The spa facility looked great, but we were only there overnight & didn’t have time to enjoy it.
