The staff were polite and very warm and super nice. The apartment had all the equipment and accessories necessary for everyday life. The rooms have thick triple glazed windows, so you basically do not even hear the trains passing by. The food store “Lidl” is located just a five-minute walking distance from the accommodation. The apartment has its own dining place and there is also a very good Italian restaurant and cocktail bar just around the corner. Parking is possible in the spacious underground garage for a reasonable additional price. The trains to Eibsee and to the cable car Zugspitze station depart from across the railway.

At the guest house, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with mountain views and outdoor furniture. At the guest house, all units have bed linen and towels.

The area is popular for skiing, mountainbiking, climbing and hiking. The Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car is 5 km from Mellow Mountain Hostel and the climbing gym is 0.5 km away. this time, I have only stayed for one night, as I was just passing by. stuff was very helpful with arranging the late check in and early check out. highly recommend the place, and I hope I can come and stay for longer next time. FYI the sitting / breakfast area has an amazing view

The Hotel Zugspitze's spacious rooms feature a modern en suite bathroom, Alpine-style furnishings, comfortable beds and free high-speed internet access. The hotel’s location is fantastic – just a short walk to key attractions, shops, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Limited variety and not very memorable compared to similar hotels. Still, I’d recommend this hotel for anyone prioritizing location over extras.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. It has panorama garden with a view of the Zugspitze mountain peak and is located just few minutes' walk from the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options, beautiful location - we were lucky enough to get snow during our stay, shuttle bus was available to takes us around the town, great room with balcony with the view for mountains and creek. Reception was able to book our day trip to Zugspitze. The saunas and pools were amazing experience, we had fun on the games room and other facilities on the complex. Most of the staff spoke fluent English. Every night they provide a card to scan, so you can win a free drink on the bar or get free drink recipe. Breakfast and dinner included on the room charge, both delicious!

Mornings at the Hotel Antonia start with a freshly prepared breakfast in the breakfast room. Mira was such a kind hostess. She gave us information on local attractions and a wonderful breakfast. The facilities were beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the games in the common family room. On-site parking was very easy.

If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the apartment can arrange a ski equipment rental service. Our apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very conform table and the shower was great. The kind owner even brought us extra duvet and heater because I am too sensitive to cold, which I fee truly grateful. We will stay in the same apartment next time we visit this area and we recommend 100% !

The view was EXACTLY why we came to Garmisch. We enjoyed our morning coffee/tea on the balcony watching the sunrise. Thanks to the huge wall of windows, we also loved sitting in the warmth of the apartment and watching the sun set behind the mountains before going to dinner. We loved the heated time floors I. The bathroom and kitchen, the large tub in the bathroom and it was very spacious in the apartment. The check in and out process was a breeze.
